I'm 28 years old, with an undergrad degree in Computer Science with a minor in mathematics. I am a software developer by birth and trade. I've used many programming languages over the years, including (but not limited to) C, C++, Clojure, Ruby, C#, Java, Groovy, Perl, Python, Erlang, Objective-C, Common Lisp, and Scheme. I've experience building and shipping mobile consumer apps for both iOS and Android platforms, building large, asychronous backend systems, working on operating system internals, building thick-client desktop software, writing line-of-business software with complicated business rules and external integrations, and working with realtime manufacturing-floor control systems (among other things). I consider myself a die-hard Emacs user, and I am happiest working in Linux.

I am a Christian of confessional Reformed convictions, at which I arrived through an obssessive study of Church history and Scripture. I'm married to the most wonderful, most beautiful and most intelligent woman in the world, and we have 2 children. Politically, I self-describe as a paleoconservative with libertarian tendencies in some areas and monarchic tendencies in others. I love and embrace the foundations of western civilization, and I strive for the preservation of those things. Individual responsibility, liberty and propriety are the only values upon which a truly sustainable and successful civilization can be erected.

Among my interests and hobbies are Christian theology, beer brewing, norse mythology, literature, woodworking, firearms, hunting, traveling and eating, all to varying and fluctuating degrees.
